You build credibility by providing useful information and by becoming a solution provider for people’s problems. Build relationships first and the selling comes naturally. By becoming a fountain of information you automatically become credible in the eyes of your potential customers/clients.

if you have a passion for something then that is a big step in online marketing. It’s not essential but it helps.
Proper keyword research, great original content, video marketing, article marketing, Twitter, Facebook are some huge ones. Be helpful to people and provide Solutions to their problems (not sales pitches like most people do). Remember to build relationships first because people like to do business with people that they like, know and trust.
